Proofmark Valuation Company professional workstation

Spend your hours on judgment, not paperwork

Start every assignment from an AI-drafted identification and valuation, correct it with your own inspection and comparables, keep a permanent workfile history, and sign a branded PDF under your approved credentials.

Manual comp sheets versus the workstation

The usual manual process

  • —Transcribing rollmarks, proofs and serial details by hand
  • —Rebuilding the same report layout for every client
  • —Loose notes, prints and comp links spread across folders
  • —No clear record of what changed between draft and final

With Proofmark Valuation Company

  • AI drafts identification, condition grade and value range from photos for you to verify
  • Structured fields for assignment, inspection, condition and your final value
  • Cite comparable sales you researched, with source, date and price
  • Every edit logged; signed reports carry a fingerprint and verification record

Comparable sales are entered by the appraiser. We don't pull live auction results yet.

Professional questions

Does using the workstation affect my independence?

The AI draft is a starting point only. You decide the condition, comparables and final value, and the signed report states that the opinion is your own. Plans are flat monthly fees, never tied to the value you conclude.

Does it keep a workfile?

Yes. The original AI draft, every saved edit, your certification declarations and the sealed sign-off are kept with the report. You remain responsible for meeting any retention period your standards or clients require.

Can I use signed reports for estates, insurance or tax?

Many appraisers use them as their working report. Whether a report is accepted by a court, insurer or tax authority depends on your credentials, inspection and the rules that apply — we don't guarantee acceptance or USPAP compliance.

Where do comparable sales come from?

You enter them from your own research — auction house, sale date, lot and price. They're shown on the report as appraiser-provided citations. Live auction data isn't connected yet.

Will my credentials appear on the PDF?

Yes. Once your application is approved, signed reports include a credentials and certification page with your name, credentialing body, number, inspection method, remarks and a verification fingerprint.

Proofmark Valuation Company is a drafting and recordkeeping aid. Signing means you adopt the final opinion as your own and remain responsible for the inspection scope, comparable research, accuracy, credentials, and professional standards that apply to the assignment. The service does not guarantee court, tax, or USPAP acceptance and does not sell or broker firearms.
