Security

Estate and collection records are private. This page explains, in plain terms, the safeguards we use today. It describes our practices; it is not a certification or audit.
Saved collections, reports and estate inventories are tied to your account. Database rules check ownership on every request, so another customer cannot read or change your records. A small number of Proofmark administrators can access reports to provide support and review.
Photos are reduced in size before they are stored with your report, and we keep only what the report needs (up to six per report). We never sell your photos or use them in marketing.
Photos are sent to our AI provider only to produce your estimate, through our own servers — your browser never holds our provider keys.
Checkout is handled by Paddle, our payment provider. Your card details go directly to Paddle; we never see or store full card numbers. Report credits are issued only after Paddle confirms payment to our servers.
When an appraiser publishes a reviewed report, we seal it with a SHA-256 fingerprint and lock it against edits. Anyone with the verification link can confirm the report matches what we issued. Drafts and review history are visible only to administrators.
The site is served over HTTPS and runs on managed cloud infrastructure. You can review the platform's security practices in our trust center.
If you believe you have found a security issue, email support@proofmarkvaluation.com. We reply within one business day.
