These terms govern your use of Proofmark Valuation Company ("Proofmark", "we", "us"). By creating an account, requesting a valuation or purchasing a report, you agree to them.
Proofmark produces desktop valuation estimates of firearms from photographs and details you supply. Estimates are prepared with AI assistance and, where stated on the report, reviewed and signed by a credentialed appraiser.
A desktop estimate is not a physical inspection. We do not verify function, bore condition, refinishing, replaced parts or authenticity beyond what the photographs show.
Proofmark does not buy, sell, broker, transfer or ship firearms, and does not facilitate any firearm transaction. Our dealer directory lists licensed dealers for your reference only; we have no relationship with them.
Reports are informational opinions of value as of the stated date. They may support insurance scheduling, estate inventories and family planning. We make no representation that any report satisfies a particular court, tax authority, insurer or professional standard; you and your advisers decide whether it is suitable for your purpose.
Each published report carries a verification code. Anyone may confirm its authenticity at the verification page; altered copies will not match.
You confirm you have the right to possess and photograph the firearms you submit, that the information you give is accurate, and that you will comply with all federal, state and local firearm laws. Do not upload images containing other people's personal information.
Purchases are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, which acts as merchant of record. Prices are shown before checkout. Report credits do not expire and are not redeemable for cash. See our refund policy for refunds.
Keep your sign-in secure. We may suspend accounts used for fraud, abuse or unlawful activity.
Valuations are estimates; actual sale prices vary. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Proofmark's total liability for any claim relating to a report is limited to the amount you paid for that report, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
